With the passing of my Great Grandmother Mildred (Sarre) Carstens back in 1982, my Uncle Roger Carstens inherited the old Carstens Family Album containing hundreds of family photos.

* A quick key to who's who in the photos. The album was originlly owned by my Great Grandparents Ernst and Mildred (Sarre) Carstens. Ernst's parents were Herman Paul August and Dorathea (Jacobsen) Carstens. She later married Paul Geipelt. Herman's parents (my Great Great Great Grandparents) were Hans and Paulina Carstens. Mildred's family were the Sarres. Her parents were Henry and Mary (LaFauce) Sarre and her brother Harry Sarre.
